[tps_header]Ireland isn’t all shamrocks, beer and rain. We spent a few days exploring the city of Dublin and all that it has to offer, including a city built on rich history, an expansive food offering and all kinds of cool places to discover (okay, there’s beer, too). Here are some must-hit moments when you visit Dublin. [/tps_header]
See: The city

One of the best parts about Dublin is that you can walk pretty much everywhere (and there’s a stellar public transit system if the rain gets you down). You’ll experience more walking through the streets and alleys and will likely find your favourite pub along the way (though you should make a point to stop into the Brazen Head, Ireland’s oldest pub). Stroll up and see both St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral before checking out Dublin Castle and the Trinity College campus. Stroll along the River Liffey and take in the energy of the city, which Dublin has in spades.
