Now and Then
The cast from this 1995 flick gave us insight at both young and older ages, delivered through talent such as Christina Ricci, Demi Moore, Gaby Hoffman, Thora Birch, Melanie Griffith and Rosie O’Donnell. The movie presents a coming-of-age story with disparaging story lines, yet everything circles back to the core of everlasting friendships. This is that movie that rewinds to those growing pains which seemingly never end, even when we think we have it all figured out. The beauty of Now and Then: we don’t know it all and never will, but having friends to vent, cry and laugh with sure helps life make a bit more sense.
