Hank Moody from Californication
David Duchovney played the believer in X-Files, a role that highlighted his anti-establishment mentality, one that is also present throughout seven seasons of Californaication. Not everyone can pen a book called God Hates Us All and have it succeed, and it’s his dry wit and sarcasm that makes Mr. Moody a dysfunctional, sexually charged charmer that is highly addictive to watch. At the core he is introspective and although he rarely makes the safe decision, he somehow finds his way and shows us that life isn’t a linear path. In his own words: Things fall apart. They Break. That’s life.
