Okay, every time I hear the 1999 hit, “Otherside,” I get in my broodiest state of mind, drop my voice eight octaves and start singing. And I know I’m not the only one. RHCP is one of those bands that are pretty universally liked, with songs that reflect the true angst and melancholy of the ’90s. Not only are songs like “Can’t Stop,” “Californication,” and “Under the Bridge,” still beloved, but the band is still actively touring, with a new freshly launched album The Getaway available now.
