Mystic Pizza
You may forget that your mother was a teenager once too, and Mystic Pizza is a quintessential coming-of-age film that may be just the thing to bring her back to those youthful life glitches, alongside you of course. The movie is surrounded around three young females (one being that of Julia Roberts) who all work at a pizza parlour. We see everything from squabbles to squirmy romantic scenes, and we watch as three women learn how to do it all, together, apart and together again. We’ve all had our scandalous moments and this may be a great platform to start finding out some of your mom’s coming-of-age secrets, too. At the very least, it will make you remember how sweet it was when boys had to call the house phone to get in touch with you.
