Making History brings back two beloved stars to network TV: Adam Pally (Happy Endings) and Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl). The comedy is based on time travel between 2016 and 1175 with Pally’s character shifting between the two, attempting to rewrite the past in order to make the present better. In the meantime he courts Meester who happens to be Paul Revere’s (a key patriot of the American Revolution) daughter. Pally has switched teams from his previous role on Happy Endings which saw him in love with men not women, and Meester also has shifted gears from being Queen B, to well, a lovestruck badass, so it seems. I guess that’s not too far off Blair Waldorf, actually. You can bet that most of the audience will be tuning in just to see these two on screen again, but let’s hope it has legs to keep the network interested too.
