3. St. Elmo’s Fire
This film is a love story about best friends that celebrates and even glorifies heartbreak. It’s about being in your twenties and basically hating everything about your life except the people that help you through good times and bad. So, in other words, you can relate. Watch this movie with your squad and even turn it into a drinking game. Every time Rob Lowe looks adorable, you have to drink. So, basically, you can expect a killer hangover the next day.
4. Young Adult
Charlize Theron is amazing here as a bitter, sarcastic and jaded YA author who goes back to her hometown to try to steal back her high school sweetheart. It doesn’t go as planned, of course, and the movie changes course super quickly and has nothing to do with love. It’s about waking up one day and realizing that while your dreams did kind of come true, they weren’t the right dreams for you. Grab a glass (or bottle) of red and think deep thoughts while you watch this one.
