There’s a tendency towards more casual dressing for events these days, says Richter, It’s cool now to mix sporty pieces with dressier items to mix things up a bit. For an office party, she recommends keeping it classic with dress pants, but adding statement accessories after 5 p.m. Think bold makeup, sleek heels and eye-catching jewelry.
