Vanilla is great, and ginger is great, so what could be greater than combining these two flavours? Follow these easy steps and you’ll be living the vida latte in no time.

TO MAKE: Bring 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar (or sweetener substitute) to a boil in small sauce pan. Add 2 tsp pure vanilla extract and 1 tsp ground ginger and stir until sticky syrup is achieved. Remove syrup from heat. Brew 2 tbsp worth of coffee and steam 1/2 cup milk. Pour coffee into mug, then syrup, then milk, then any leftover foam. Drink immediately.
