Back in April (April<\/em> — like, almost an actual year ago) we were met with the news that Rihanna would be releasing a makeup line of her own, and that tidbit became the floating wardrobe door throughout a very turbulent 2016.<\/p>\n

But alas, it is now February of 2017 and nothing has come to pass [pause for dramatic effect] until now.<\/p>\n

For a brief moment, there was a new Instagram account, @FentyBeautyCosmetics<\/a> (that is now inexplicably MIA), that greeted viewers with the image of a woman wearing holographic lip colour, which will be the first product released from the collection, according to People<\/a>. (And granted: if you were paying attention to last season’s Fenty show, you’d notice the tone had made its debut on the runway. So technically, we’ve already\u00a0had<\/em> a preview but also do any of us have time to watch every single fashion show, I mean really.)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Also on the account was a short video featuring our best friend and yesterday’s birthday girl, Rihanna.<\/p>\n

“As you guys may have heard already, I am working on creating a beauty line, Fenty Beauty,” she said. “And I can’t wait for you guys to see what I’ve been working on. I’m super excited about it.”<\/p>\n

Well same, Rihanna. Like, hi.<\/p>\n

The collection is set to launch this fall and will be available at Sephora, so maybe consider standing in line starting now because anyone who’s even been to Sephora on like, a regular Saturday knows\u00a0what it’s like during a bona fide cosmetic event.<\/p>\n
