(Yay!) The poor <em>La La Land<\/em> makers lived through my worth nightmare! (Woof!) Casey Affleck won an Oscar! (No thank you!) And odds are, you already know about all of this, and you&#8217;re scrolling through every Oscars post and you&#8217;re gathering your hot takes and you&#8217;re going to sort through them later and declare them piping hot or lukewarm or kind of cold and then it will be Tuesday and you will have moved on.<\/p>\n<p>So here is the hottest take of all: every emotion experienced during the Academy Awards&#8217; final three-five minutes. By me. For you. Ta da.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wow, Warren Beatty is taking a really long time to read this card.<\/li>\n<li>Is he okay?<\/li>\n<li>Why are they being so dramatic?<\/li>\n<li>Oh my LORD, just announce the winner.<\/li>\n<li>THANK YOU, Faye Dunaway, okay&#8211;<\/li>\n<li>Oh ugh, <em>La La Land<\/em>. Of course! Yep.<\/li>\n<li>Honestly why am I even surprised at this point.<\/li>\n<li>I mean, they all seem very nice but&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Oh here we go &#8212; this guy&#8217;s going to pull an Adele and say that <em>Moonlight<\/em> is the\u00a0<em>real<\/em> winner while taking their Oscar home.<\/li>\n<li>Wait, what the fuck&#8211;<\/li>\n<li>This bit is terrible.<\/li>\n<li>Is this a bit?<\/li>\n<li>What is happening?<\/li>\n<li>Is this &#8230;?<\/li>\n<li>Holy shit.<\/li>\n<li>Oh my God.<\/li>\n<li>What?!<\/li>\n<li><em>MOONLIGHT<\/em>!<\/li>\n<li>OKAY <em>MOONLIGHT<\/em>!<\/li>\n<li>Wait&#8230; this is real, right?<\/li>\n<li>Is this real?!<\/li>\n<li>Holy shit though I would want to die if I were <em>La La Land<\/em> right now.<\/li>\n<li>Oh my God, now they all have to walk off the stage&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>This is my nightmare.<\/li>\n<li>I can&#8217;t stop watching this.<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t\u00a0<em>want<\/em> to stop watching this but also even if I wanted to there would be no way I could.<\/li>\n<li>This is bananas.<\/li>\n<li>THIS IS BANANAS.<\/li>\n<li>You know that line in <em>Veep<\/em> where Jonah&#8217;s like &#8220;What colossal fuck-up are we dealing with today?&#8221; I think that line is about this.<\/li>\n<li>They had one actual job.<\/li>\n<li>Is Warren Beatty stoned?<\/li>\n<li>If he&#8217;s not now, he should get that way immediately.<\/li>\n<li>Save Faye Dunaway.<\/li>\n<li>Who should be fired for this?<\/li>\n<li>Am I going to be fired for this?<\/li>\n<li>How does something like this even happen?<\/li>\n<li>OKAY BUT\u00a0<em>MOONLIGHT<\/em> WON LIKE THAT IS THE BEST THIS IS FANTASTIC<\/li>\n<li>But oh my goodness if I were the <em>La La Land<\/em> team I would want to pass away.<\/li>\n<li>They handled that well, though.<\/li>\n<li>IT COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE.<\/li>\n<li>It could be the other way around!<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s fine.<\/li>\n<li>They&#8217;ll be fine.<\/li>\n<li>This is amazing.<\/li>\n<li>I feel like I just ran 45 km.<\/li>\n<li>CINEMA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, the Oscars happened and what an Oscars they were.
