Cool news alert: L’Or\u00e9\u00a9al Paris has named Maria Borges as its newest beauty ambassador, which is a natural fit for the Victoria’s Secret Angel<\/a>, Givenchy model, Chanel model, Target model and all-around smart and interesting\u00a0person, TBH.<\/p>\n

“This means the world to me,” Borges said in a statement released earlier this week. “I believe in the beauty of diversity and the empowering message that a girl who started from the bottom can become an international beauty symbol. And be living proof that our dreams are valid and the future ahead of us is bright. Thank you, L’Or\u00e9\u00a9al Paris, we’re all worth it.”<\/p>\n

However, yesterday (March 1), the model dropped a video on Instagram<\/a>, introducing herself and her new gig, along with the message: “Being part of the L’Or\u00e9\u00a9al family is a big responsibility, so I’ll do my best to make you guys proud.”<\/p>\n
