Toronto Fashion Week is back in session, setting up shop in Toronto’s Yorkville Village to showcase the fall 2018 collections of some of Canada’s buzziest designers from February 5 to 7. We\u2019ve been hanging out backstage with makeup lead Simone Otis and her army of artists with<\/span> beautyBOUTIQUE<\/span><\/a> by Shoppers Drug Mart to give you daily recaps of our favourite beauty looks from the shows. The final day went out with a bang! Here are all the looks from day three: <\/span>

\n<\/span>Mani Jassal <\/b>
\n<\/span>\"\"
\n<\/span>Best known for her handmade South Asian-inspired garments, Jassal\u2019s latest collection was based on the theme of self-love and women’s empowerment. For that reason, makeup lead Simone Otis created a very neutral look \u2014 very similar to the designer\u2019s own everyday beauty look: bold brows, mascara and a brown lip. To mimic Jassal\u2019s naturally brown lips, Otis used Stila Stay All Day Matte\u2019ificent Lipstick in Bonbon<\/a> ($29). \u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>For nails, Melissa Forrest, official nail spokesperson for Shoppers Drug Mart, created this gold and black nail with Swarovski crystal accents. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Pedram Karimi<\/b>
\n<\/b>\"\"
\n\u201cPedram is a very emotional person. He\u2019s very into the planet and making the world a better place \u2014 he truly, genuinely feels those things,\u201d says Otis. After speaking with the emotionally-driven designer, Otis created this graphic red heart look, using Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso<\/a> ($29) and Liner in Pinot Noir<\/a> ($26). <\/span>
\n<\/b>
\n<\/span>Andrew Coimbra x Uncuffed <\/b>
\n<\/b>\"\"
\n<\/b>To mimic the strong reds and patent leather detailing of the\u00a0Andrew Coimbra x Uncuffed collaboration, Otis created a wet, glossy red eye using lipstick (Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso, $29) and gloss. To enhance and set the bright pigments of the lipstick, she used Urban Decay Eye Primer in Original<\/a> ($28) as a base on the lids. To soften the look, she then finished with a delicate purple-based pink stain on the lip using Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Brigitte ($29). <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Hayley Elsaesser <\/b>
\n<\/b>For this galaxy-inspired collection, Otis directed three insanely fun, playful looks. Think: alien, cosmic and skin! <\/span>
\n<\/span>\"\"
\n<\/span>Look One: Otis used Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Eyeshadow Palette in Kaleidoscope Dream<\/a>\u00a0($50), Urban Decay Eyeshadow<\/a> in Tonic and Asphyxia ($24) and Shiseido Paperlight Cream Eyeshadow in Yamabuki Yellow<\/a> ($33) and applied \u2014 and almost painted on \u2014 the different shades onto the models\u2019 skin to create a luminescent cosmic effect. To really brighten and capture the colours on the runway, she first primed the skin with Paul & Joe Primer in Lavender ($28).

\n<\/span>\"\"
\n<\/span>Look Two: To create this Manga-like alien look, Otis played around with colour and shapes. For the eyes, she drew brightly-hued circles around the outer corners using the same products from the first look. Playing with circle theme, she shaped a circle just on the very centre of the lips with Smashbox Be Legendary Matte Lipstick in Talk To Me<\/a> ($25). <\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>Look Three: This edgier alien look consisted of yellow pigment and graphic petaled-lined eyes. To create the petals, Otis and her team marked placements to draw on petals customized to each eye shape using Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Midnight<\/a> ($29).<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>And of course, these looks wouldn\u2019t have been complete without some OTT nails. Playing off the galaxy theme, nail artist Forrest created starry glitter gel nails. <\/span>To create this look at home, she suggests using clear top coat as a base. While the nails are still wet, sprinkle on star glitter and seal with the same top coat. <\/span>
\n<\/span>\"\"
\n<\/span>While some were rocking the gel nails, others \u2014 male models included \u2014 rocked pastel-hued polish. <\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>S.P Badu<\/b>
\n<\/span>\"\"
\n<\/span>As an accessory to highlight the bold, yet monochromatic looks of Badu\u2019s unisex collection, Otis decided to create a supernatural look. Perfecting a skin-like texture was the main focus. Her tip? \u00a0\u201cYou have to start by finding a foundation most realistic to your texture. Experiment \u2014 find the right foundation and the best application technique,\u201d she suggests. Otis strategically applied foundation to the models\u2019 skin only where they really needed the coverage using Lanc\u00f4me Teint Miracle Foundation<\/a> ($53) and Concealer<\/a> ($37).<\/span>

\n<\/span>Fashion Feels x Sick Kids<\/b>
\n<\/b>\"\"
\n<\/b>Fashion Heals is an annual charity event that aims to raise awareness for an innovation grant at SickKids hospital. Otis wanted to create a modern look, guaranteed to look good on all ages and people featured in the show. It consisted of warm-toned eyes, bronzed skin and a beautiful neutral orange lip using NARS Lip Pencil in Timanfaya. <\/span>
