Do you know how you ever made it to work or school or your bestie\u2019s before the multistick? Me neither. NARS in \u201cOrgasm\u201d dominated my bathroom counter for the longest time, but it wasn\u2019t my first. My mom\u2019s was.<\/p>\n
It might have been from Avon, she was super loyal to the brand when I was growing up and she kept it in the mirrored medicine cabinet. The black twirl-up tube was filled with a cream-stick of dusty rose with a hint of a sparkle and I coveted it. Maybe it was the 1980s\u2019 version of the multistick or maybe it was just a stick cream-blush, I\u2019m not sure. My mom definitely got her flushed glow when she used it on her cheeky apples. It\u2019s all she ever used it for. Not me. I can clearly remember sitting on the bathroom counter staring into the mirror and swiping it everywhere.<\/p>\n
Now, I have at least half a dozen of various multies; there are so many great shades and textures, like Canadian favourite, Bite Beauty\u2019s roster of Multisticks in \u201cPrismatic Pink,\u201d \u201cPrismatic Oyster,\u201d \u201cPrismatic Peacock,\u201d \u201cPrismatic Rose Pearl\u201d and \u201cPrismatic White.\u201d Considering I may or may not have just spent the past month applying my mascara at random stoplights on my way to work, believe me when I say you can never have too many multisticks. They\u2019re convenience in application puts them at the top of my list.<\/p>\n
They\u2019re also fantastic option creators. You can go for monochromatic on your lips, cheeks and eyelids, mix and match a couple of Multisticks to create your own blend or use them individually as a blush, highlighter, eyeshadow or lipstick. It doesn\u2019t matter. Their super-creamy formulation feels luxurious and makes them easy to apply anywhere. Right now \u201cPrismatic Pink\u201d is my go-to. It makes me feel a little nostalgic for my mom, Calgary and all-mirror bathroom vanities when I wear it, but it mostly just makes me look dewy, fresh and pretty. And prepared. It\u2019s in my purse. Ready when I am.<\/p>\n
