The Alma Chronicle<\/a><\/strong>
\nIn the past, I\u2019ve consciously stayed away from tinted moisturizers as I believed I couldn\u2019t find one off the shelves that matched my skin\u2019s undertones.<\/p>\n

I tried the Burt\u2019s Bees Goodness Glows Tinted Moisturizer as a unique alternative to foundation and I was pleasantly surprised. For someone who is used to wearing a face of full coverage makeup, I must say it took some getting used to. The tinted moisturizer wears similar to a daytime moisturizer with a tint of color and a non-greasy natural finish. The sheer coverage also offered the right amount of lightweight feel and natural look that blended with my everyday products.<\/p>\n

I wore it for 7 hours and my skin looked radiant both in person and in photos, that it was hard to guess I wasn\u2019t wearing any actual foundation (true testament from friends).<\/p>\n

Additionally, I\u2019m a big fan of skincare so an extra bonus is that the Goodness Glows tinted moisturizer is made with ingredients from nature and is rich in vitamins and antioxidants that help moisturize and nourish the skin.<\/p>\n

Bird of Balance<\/a><\/strong>
\nAs I\u2019ve gotten older my skin has become increasingly dry. Finding a foundation that doesn\u2019t dry up my skin or crease is important to me. I\u2019m also more cautious about sun exposure, so I like to include something with pigment. My usual skin routine includes cleansing my skin, followed by a toner and moisturizer. I then apply a lightweight foundation to even out my skin tone and texture, as well as a bronzer for a little glow.<\/p>\n

When I first used Burt\u2019s Bees Tinted Moisturizer, simplifying my routine was my intention. It\u2019s the perfect combination of a daytime moisturizer with a tint of colour that is also lightweight\u2014all of my must haves. The biggest difference that I\u2019ve noticed is the lasting coverage and all-day moisture.<\/p>\n

Not only is my routine a few steps simpler with the antioxidant-rich Tinted Moisturizer, but I\u2019m not experiencing the dry creasing I normally notice from the foundation layered (and drying up) on top of my moisturizer.<\/p>\n

Now I simply apply the Burt\u2019s Bees Tinted Moisturizer onto a freshly washed face and I\u2019m ready for the day. It goes on smoothly and provides even coverage with a dewy glow. An additional bonus is that it\u2019s made with 98.8% ingredients from natural origins, so I have the peace of mind of knowing that my clean skin isn\u2019t layered with the cosmetic nasties such as parabens, phthalates, petrolatum and SLS that we see in so many products. I love that this is a product that can be used year-round for easy everyday tinted coverage that keeps your skin hydrated throughout the day!<\/p>\n

\nSince late 2019 I was dealing with a lot of skin issues, so I have been super careful with any products that I put on my face. I\u2019ve always had a good experience with Burt\u2019s Bees products so when it came to trying their new Tinted Moisturizer, I felt comfortable testing it out!<\/p>\n

After wearing it for about a week I can happily say that I am in love. I am obsessed with how it\u2019s so lightweight, but still gives a tint of colour that helps even my skin tone. It also leaves you with this super natural glow I\u2019m always striving for. An added benefit is that since it\u2019s a moisturizer, it keeps my skin super hydrated throughout the day! It\u2019s rich in antioxidants, is 98.8% natural origin ingredients, and is dermatologist tested! I found it a perfect addition to my speedy morning routine because the texture is so smooth that it can be easily applied with just your fingers. I\u2019m excited to add this tinted moisturizer into my everyday beauty arsenal!<\/p>\n

\nIt’s rare to find a tinted moisturizer at this price point that does what this one can do. I have the skin type that is either really oily or dry. What I like about Burt\u2019s Bees Goodness Glows is that it hydrates without making my skin look shiny. It blurs and evens, while effortlessly matching my skin tone (always a tough one for me as I’m usually mixing shades), working like a primer and foundation in one.<\/p>\n

I never like to look like I am wearing makeup and the coverage is lightweight and natural, which makes this perfect for everyday use.\u00a0The way it blends in and looks so much like your skin was the part that impressed me most about it.\u00a0It is also really nice to know that it is made with ingredients from nature and does not not irritate my skin, as some tinted moisturizers are heavy and full of fragrance. I can apply it quickly with my fingertips as I make my way out the door in the morning. It’s a no fuss product where a little bit goes a long way. I’m really happy with the results!<\/p>\n
