Pride Month 2021 is underway, and some of our favourite beauty brands are celebrating by launching limited-edition products to support the LGBTQ+ community. That means proceeds from select moisturizers, makeup palettes and more will be donated to organizations working to meet the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer youth and adults across the globe.<\/p>\n

Here are a few of the Pride 2021 beauty collections that we\u2019re most excited about.<\/p>\n

\nQuo Beauty<\/strong>
\nShoppers Drug Mart is supporting the LGBTQ2S+ community with their first-ever Pride collection. The Quo Beauty rainbow-bright collection includes a range of colour cosmetics including waterproof eyeliners, an eyeshadow palette, eyelashes and brow stickers; nail polish and accessories, such as a brush set, head bands, sunglasses and more. Shoppers Drug Mart will be contributing 10 per cent of sales (up to a total of $20,000) of the Quo Beauty Pride collection to Pflag Canada, which helps Canadians with issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. The retailer will also be supporting PFlag Canada, PFlag Toronto and The 519 with a donation of $20,000.<\/p>\n

BUY:<\/em> The Quo Beauty Pride collection is available online at Shoppersdrugmart.ca<\/a> and Pharmaprix.ca<\/a> and at Shoppers Drug Mart stores across the country. Prices range from $8 \u2013 $35 CAD.<\/p>\n

\nKiehl’s<\/strong>
\nIn celebration of Pride 2021 Kiehl’s has partnered up with The Get REAL Movement – a Canadian non-profit organization focused on combatting 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination, racism, and bullying in schools, summer camps, and workplaces. To support the partnership, Kiehl’s has collaborated with a Toronto-based 2SLGBTQ+ artist, Tim Singleton, to produce original artwork for its iconic daily 24-hour moisturizer Ultra Facial Cream. A donation of $15,000 CAD will enable the Get REAL Movement to train an additional two 2SLGBTQ+ speakers, including one trans-identifying speaker, to its speaking team and empower them to provide 2SLGBTQ+ education to a combined 58 schools and 17,000 students across Canada during the 2021 school year. <\/p>\n

\nMorphe<\/strong>
\nMorphe\u2019s Live With Love collection includes a limited-edition artistry palette that includes 25 bold shades that are ready for any statement you want to make (names like \u201cSpark Ideas,\u201d \u201cSpread Kindness,\u201d \u201cUse Your Voice,\u201d and \u201cBe Heard\u201d are among the shade names). The 2021 collection also includes an eye brush set with a set of seven synthetic brushes for blending shades to perfection as well as a sleek hand mirror. Developed in partnership with The Trevor Project, 100% of proceeds will be donated to help the organization fund crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth.<\/p>\n

\nNYX Professional Makeup is celebrating Pride Month with a new collection and social media challenge. The brand is releasing a collection of eye, lip and face offerings in bright colors and metallics and is donating $100,000 to various LGBTQ organizations. NYX is also hosting its #NYXCosmeticsBall, inspired by the underground LGBTQ ballroom scene, where contestants can submit a video showing their makeup look and performance for a chance to win $5,000. The winner will be announced on June 28.<\/p>\n
