It’s getting cold out these days but now that it’s full blown Fall<\/a>, that doesn’t necessarily mean we need to hibernate until buds reappear marking the arrival of Spring. The city can be loads of fun in the cooler weather<\/a> if you’re willing to bundle up and get a tiny bit creative. We’ve come up with a list of our favourites:<\/p>\n

Fall Colours
<\/strong>You can’t ignore the beautiful Fall colours right out your window. Pull out your comfortable shoes and bundle up a bit, and visit one of the amazing hiking trails around the city and take in the breathtaking Fall colours. <\/p>\n

Exercise Outdoors
<\/strong>It’s not too cold outside just yet that you can’t throw on a pair of runners and jog around a new neighbourhood. The cool air will give you the added burst of energy. Along with getting some exercise in, you’ll be spending some time discovering a new area.<\/p>\n

Brunch Spot 
<\/strong>What’s better than a Sunday morning brunch with your girlfriends? Catch up over a cup of coffee and a leisurely meal together.<\/p>\n

Fall Fairs
<\/strong>A quick search will turn up dozens of results around the city, but in November Toronto welcomes its own Fall fair. So catch a horse show, sample some fudge and enjoy some local produce and pretend for awhile you are out of the big city.<\/p>\n

Local Art Galleries
<\/strong>Check out your local art galleries to see what’s on and spend a quiet afternoon soaking in some culture. <\/p>\n

Get to Know the City
<\/strong>Every city has interesting pockets generally around the downtown core that you can explore with a friend. Pop into little shops along the way, grab a hot chocolate and check out what’s going on outside of your neighbourhood.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
