I&#8217;ll always adore her and I know we&#8217;ll remain friends.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Unforunately, Brand&#8217;s announcement comes after the rumour mill began churning out gossip, with news that Katy Perry and Russell Brand had actually spent the holidays apart after having a fight. The two were also seen without their wedding bands, as well as in two different locations: Katy Perry spent Christmas in Hawaii, while Russell Brand camped out in native England.<\/p>\n<p>However, <em>TMZ<\/em> reports that Brand&#8217;s filing may come as a shock to the Katy Perry: the outlet has noted that Russell Brand&#8217;s court documents request that each party pay their own legal fees, and that rights to their &#8220;community propery assets&#8221; are TBD.<\/p>\n<p>What that means? There may be no prenup.<\/p>\n<p>Katy Perry and Russell Brand were married just 14 months ago, but throughout the year, the duo&#8217;s relationship came under the spotlight once details of a less-than-happy marriage began to surface.
