The snow doesn’t have to put a damper on your spirits. Winter dates<\/a> do require a little more creativity, but they can be just as fun, and even more cozy, romantic and sexy than summer dates. Plus, getting adventurous outdoors definitely warrants some serious cuddling afterward. Here are a few ideas for creative winter fun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1. Go to a winter fair. <\/strong>
Winter fairs celebrate winter when most of us grumble through it. Join in the fun. Drink some artisan hot chocolate, check out ice sculptures, pet goats. You might be surprised at how much fun you have. <\/p>\n

2. Go snowboarding.<\/strong>
Sure, it requires a lot of work – getting to a ski hill, renting boards if you don’t have them, making a whole day of it, but it’s a super fun adventure. Chilling out all night after is the best reward ever, too. Back massage, anyone? <\/p>\n

3. Make fireplace s’mores. <\/strong>
Ghost storytelling, and cuddling, is absolutely required. <\/p>\n

4. Have a fondue night. <\/strong>
Is it just us, or does winter just make you want to dip bite sized comfort foods into a steaming vat of cheese \/ chocolate? you can’t really go wrong with a fondue night. Fondue is a sexy way to share a meal together. It’s all about tasting and experimenting. It’s an activity in itself. <\/p>\n

5. Build a snowfort.<\/strong>
Then cuddle in it after. How rewarding. <\/p>\n

6. Head to the beach and have a picnic.<\/strong>
In the winter, the beach is a totally different experience. First of all, there’s no one else there. Bring a blanket and picnic on the snow covered sand and enjoy the silence. <\/p>\n

7. Rent your favourite Christmas cartoons<\/strong>
When it’s too cold to head outdoors, stay in with a big pot of stovetop popcorn and a cozy blanket and have a marathon. <\/p>\n

8. Try an unusual restaurant. <\/strong>
Shake things up and go somewhere you’d never normally go, (ie: Medieval Times, some obscure tea room, or fancy hotel bar for cocktails and apps). Playing tourist in your own town can be fun. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
