Anna Wintour has earned a reputation for getting. it. DONE. And while she's also been painted as someone frightening, to that I say: shut it. You've got to be tough to move up like she has, and if Grace Coddington can sing her praises in a memoir, all of us can deal with her not being an enormous ray of sunshine all the time. (I mean, it's not like she's spewing hate on the Internet or anything. Come on, people.)<\/p>\n

So imagine my (and probably all of yours') delight when I read about her talk at the WWD <\/em>CEO Summit with CBS' Leslie Moonves. And imagine it again when she admitted: she fakes it JUST LIKE ALL OF US.<\/p>\n

"I think possiby what people working for one hate the most is indecision," she said. "Even if I'm completely unsure, I'll pretend I know exactly what I'm talking about and make a decision."<\/p>\n

Fake it 'til you make i! It's the ultimate words of wisdom. (At least in a professional setting like that — don't pretend to be someone you aren't, or something. That's absolutely not what she meant.) Embrace confidence, and even if you're still not 100% about something, own it anyway. Which actually goes hand in hand with the next thing she said: "The most important thing I can do is try and make myself very clearly understood."<\/p>\n
