Jennifer Aniston is about to launch her second fragrance with Elizabeth Arden, and it's perfect for a hot summer's day. Called J by Jennifer Aniston, the new scent is inspired by a day at the beach. <\/p>\n

"My debut fragrance is a clean, feminine perfume — it reminds me of the way you smell when you just arrive at the beach: fresh, with a touch of sunblock and sand," Aniston told People<\/a> magazine. "The new fragrance is its complement. It has a hint of that salty sea smell that reminds of a day spent in the ocean. It's relaxed and refreshing." <\/p>\n

Along with those salty notes are clean floral scents, such as waterlily and magnolia. It also has a touch of sandalwood and vanilla bourbon for a more musky tone. J by Jennifer Aniston's packaging goes right along with the beach vibe, with a colour that looks like the ocean. Even the outer boxed packaging features Aniston with tousled tresses that look like she's just spent the day at the beach (and unlike most of us, somehow looks better than she did when she got there). <\/p>\n

Back in 2011, when Aniston was debuting her first fragrance, she said becoming a perfumer felt totally natural to her. <\/p>\n

"I wanted to create my own fragrance because for years I would make scented oils and lotions for my girlfriends for wedding showers, baby showers and birthdays," she said. "I would create a personalized scent for them, so when I was offered the opportunity to design my own fragrance I jumped at the chance." <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
