Well, our dreams have died thanks to Emma Watson choosing to share the truth<\/em>. (Ugh.)<\/p>\n

After last week was defined by the news that Emma Watson was dating Prince Harry, the actress stepped up to kibosh our hopes and dreams, taking to Twitter and setting the record straight.<\/p>\n

"World," she tweeted, in what we will assume was her most Hermione tone. "Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!"<\/p>\n

"Also," she added. "Marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a Princess." Which she, as a magical being, then capped off with a clip from 1995's "A Little Princess" — aka the movie most of us spent a good portion of our childhoods watching and re-watching.<\/p>\n

So that makes it official, I guess. Despite the Australian magazine responsible for said rumours claiming that Prince Harry is "smitten — and it's more than Emma's looks," we'll have to settle for Emma Watson living her best life without the attachment of a Windsor on her arm.<\/p>\n

Which, let's be honest: probably would've gotten in the way of her world domination, anyway. Girlfriend will be starring in the remake of "Beauty and the Beast" which starts filming later this year, and will be out next — and she's also still the Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women. (Which included RT-ing a lot of support for Patricia Arquette's speech at the Oscars last night.)<\/p>\n
