To say one hates heels is as preposterous as saying one hates Game of Thrones<\/em>. Both of them hurt you to your very core, but, with that pain comes the pleasure of knowing that Sansa will make Ramsay pay (we hope), and similarly, that despite the fact that you cannot move, let alone dance, you look hot.<\/p>\n

In case you’re glancing up at the title of this post wondering if we have lost our minds, we do have a point. Fact of the matter is, despite how much fun heels are to initially put on, being enslaved to Uber surge pricing, or worse, walking home barefoot at the end of the night, is just not worth it. Clearly the fashion world agrees with us because flat styles this season had us wishing for fall way before bikini season even started. So without further ado, here’s our curated list of flats that we’re falling for.<\/p>\n

Zara, Tie Up Leather Ballerina’s ($69.90)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"1\"<\/a>
\nWe’re not sure if 50 Shades of Grey is the root, but this year, bondage certainly creeped into our zeitgeist. Although a paired down version of the trend, make no mistake, these demure flats are a nod in the general BDSM direction.<\/p>\n

Nine West, Ciaobella Tassel Loafers ($122.52)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBorrowing from the boys never goes out of fashion. Up your style game with a pair of menswear inspired loafers.<\/p>\n

Chiara Ferragni, Italian Breakfast Flat ($286)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nF\/W 2015 shows were all about velvet shoes, and we love this fun pair from Chiara Ferragni. Raise your hand if it makes you want to a) scarf down a plate of buttery croissants, b) book a plane ticket to Italy where you can look impossibly chic while sipping on a latte, or c) both.<\/p>\n
