Nau<\/strong><\/p>\n

On a mission to change the outdoor apparel industry, Nau<\/a> is about as hardcore about sustainability as they are about performance, so stock up on sleek, simple black leggings and splurge on chic, functional outerwear. They have even developed their own technical, eco-friendly fabrics, such as durable, weather-resistant recycled polyester, super soft, breathable micromodal and moisture-wicking, fast-drying tencel.<\/p>\n

Cozy Orange<\/strong><\/p>\n

When you want to look unreasonably good at the gym, the short shorts, strappy bra tops and mesh leggings from Cozy Orange<\/a> will complement the natural shape of your body. (Seriously, we’re obsessed with those sheer panel leggings.) And their pieces are made of recycled polyester from plastic bottles, their packaging is made of recycled or reusable materials and they use sustainable production processes, so you can feel good while you look good.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yoga Democracy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inspired by ahimsa, the yoga principle of doing as little harm as possible, Yoga Democracy<\/a> makes colourful, printed leggings from recycled post-consumer materials. Their leggings are made from about 12 water bottles and their tops and shorts are made from about half a pound of fishing net. They use a low-energy, zero-water dyeing process and even donate 10 per cent of their profits to environmental causes.<\/p>\n

Inner Fire<\/strong><\/p>\n

Can’t get enough leggings? Inner Fire<\/a> makes the most impossibly colourful leggings, from pink and orange sunsets to purple clouds to blue and green galaxies, each made from recycled water bottles and made in Vancouver (gotta have that Canadian love). You’ll also love their hand-printed tanks featuring quirky yoga puns like “I’m just here for the savasana,” “shake your asana,” “more dharma, less drama” and “namaste right here.\u009d<\/p>\n

Stelari<\/strong><\/p>\n

The soft, pastel yoga tanks and kimonos from Stelari<\/a> are so cute, you can easily wear them out to brunch, even if you didn’t make it to that early morning vinyasa class. (Like how adorable is that agate inspired top?) And even if you bailed on your bikram class to go for drinks after work, you can at least feel good about your outfit. All the tops are made of recycled polyester from plastic water bottles, which keeps the bottles out of landfills and uses less energy.<\/p>\n

No yoga practice or workout routine is complete without a mat, but most mats are made of plastic that is harmful to your body and the planet. The mats from ecoYoga<\/a>, on the other hand, are made of sustainably grown, natural rubber and jute and are produced using a minimal waste process.
