Yesterday, makeup giant Revlon made the exciting announcement of their new global brand ambassador, Ciara. While the brand had been teasing the new face for a while, the partnership was celebrated in New York (which we were fortunate enough to attend) as Ciara talked about why Revlon was such an easy fit for her. One of the reasons: she revealed she was named after one of Revlon’s old fragrances. Seems like a match made in heaven.<\/p>\n
It’s been a busy year for the Grammy award-winning artist (and all around badass), who got engaged, married and landed a modelling contract with IMG, all while raising her two-year-old son with former fianc\u00e9\u00a9 Future. As Revlon’s new global brand ambassador, Ciara will front some of the upcoming launches, including lip balms, eyebrow pencils and eyeshadows, launching later this year and in early 2017 with some other really great products.\u00a0Ciara\u00a0follows a long line of power women who have fronted the brand, including Halle Berry and Olivia Wilde. And, in case you’re wondering, she’s even more gorgeous up close and in person than you could ever imagine (and is 100 per cent hair and skin goals).<\/p>\n
In addition to the new products (which, admittedly, we’re pretty excited about), Ciara will also star in Revlon’s Choose Love campaign, which is apart of the brand’s larger Love Is On M.O., which celebrates self-love and putting love back into the universe and ignoring all of the haterade noise in the background.
