  1. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
  2. these colors are fantastic! I love all of them, especially because I have blue/hazel eyes, so a different hue is highlighted depending on which one I use (i.e. purple makes my eyes more green, brown/beige make them more hazel/blue).
  3. i love your blue and purple well actually i love all colurs 🙂 lol but i like going to shades to sometimes too
  4. My favorite color of eye shadow is the beiges and browns. Then use those colors to giving yourself a nice smokey eye.
  5. Every other day we dont have the pollution on the island here so you can get away from washing your hair every other day!
  6. I have to wash every day. I have curly hair and cant get a brush through it unless its wet. Thanks for this giveaway and good luck to all.
  7. When I can!!! I agree I like to try a sample first to try to see if I like the product enough to buy it. That is one of the main things holding me back from trying new products is what if you don’t like it.
  8. I try new products whenever I hear or see something new and interesting. I probably try a half dozen to one dozen a year.
  9. I ask for samples, especially if they have any new products. I will try any brand as long as I can get a free sample to start.
  10. I usually like to try it first, with a sample. Then, if I like it, and it likes my skin, I’ll give it a try with a full size container.
  11. I generally don’t try new products unless family member recommends them. I enjoy the products I use right now.
  12. I love trying new products. Whenever I see something new in a magazine or in store, I have to try it. I found more gems this way! And besides… it’s fun!
  13. i like to try new beauty products when i hear about them usually advertised on tv, i especially like the long lasting makeup products
  14. I love trying new products, but give my preference to samples rather than full size containers. I don’t like wasting money on full size bottles of product that cause my skin to react.
  15. I love trying new things!! I usually stick to the same facial creams and lotions just so I don’t shock my sensitive skin but other than that, I love trying new make up products, body creams and lotions and hair products and perfumes!!
    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! 🙂
  16. I try to use samples as much as possible before I buy the full size product. There are so many new things coming out the I tend to stick to the ones I know really work for me
  17. All depends on what the product does. If it sounds good, I will try it but normally I stick to what product I like and works
  18. All depends. If I hear through a friend that there is a really good product she likes and feels that it works well, chances are I will go out and try it for myself. I sometimes get samples and if it is something that I like, I will buy as well.
  19. I will try any new product I receive a sample of. If I like it better than my regular product then I will switch.
  20. It depends. When I find a product isn’t working, I will definitely try something new. I find that if I like a product, it is hard for me to change to something new. It sometimes takes some convincing.
  21. I try new products occasionally – generally if I try & like a sample, or if someone recommends a product to me.
  22. I have wasted too much money on trying new products that don’t live up to what they are suppose to do or work. It’s great when I can find a free sample to give new products a try.
  23. I have to agree with the other girls. I’m more likely to try a new product when I can have a free sample, so I guess the answer is, not very often.
  24. I usually like to try new products if I can sample them first or if they go on sale as I like most of the products I am currently using.
  25. Has to be free. I have wasted too much money over the years only to be dissappointed in or allergic to a product.
  26. Whenever I get the opportunity to try new products I love it. Either through a contest, a free sample or a coupon. If I like the product I will then buy it.
  27. I try new beauty products if they’re on sale, or I get a free sample or I get a huge recommendation from someone.
  28. Usually every 6 weeks. Currently growing out my colour back to natural so haven’t dyed it in over 6 months!! Looks sooooooo bad! Lol!
  29. every couple of months, just touching up the roots, depending on when my hair needs it, I let the sun lighten my hair during the summer
  30. I don’t dye it but I occasionally use John Frieda’s lightening spray for blondes, which adds more highlights.
  31. I am trying not to dye my hair but I may need to as the grays are coming in! I am thinking that I will use a rinse when I do
  32. I colour my hair every couple of months in the summer, usually just doing root touch ups and letting the sun lighten the rest, and yep I do it at home
  33. I treat myself to highlights at the beginning of summer. I use shampoo and hairspray that enhance and keep the co,our lasting longer
  34. Nope – I read lots of horror stories about peoples faces breaking out post facial. I do my own facials at home.
  35. Yes I’ve had one facial as a gift from my wife. It was good but not something I would do on a regular bases.
  36. Once. It felt great the first day, then my skin got really dry and scaly. It took a week and a half to get back to normal.
  37. I’ve never had one, but have always wanted to. I’m afraid once I have one, it will become a necessity and I’m not sure the bank account could tolerate that! 🙂
  38. Yes more than 15 years ago and it left my skin looking orange. Of course I also forgot to wash my hands thoroughly and my palms looked very orange for some time…I haven’t had the guts to try again.
  39. I have tried self tanner lotion but I stopped using it because when I worked out the sweat would make it run and it looked ridiculous.. lol
  40. Yes I sure have. Sometimes it works other times, well not so much! A bit off colour, but it’s better than too much sun.
  41. I used one in university but have been looking for a good quality tanner ever since that one disappointing time.
  42. Yes I have but only once, I followed the instructions and I still got streaks, never again will I use a self tanner product.
  43. No because I tan very easily and I once saw my friend use a self tanner and she turned orange and it took weeks to get rid of it..
  44. Not a real self tanner, just the gradual colour lotions (Jergens Natural Glow, that kind of thing).
Scary, but I need some serious colour!!
  45. I remove my makeup, wash my face with neutrogena soap, use a toner and moisturizer and night time eye cream.
  46. shower, take off all my make up tone, moisturizer, anti agin creme like drazy, cozy pajamas, sip of good red wine, and a good book!!!
  47. wash with a tea tree face wash, dab with toner and moisturize, twice a week i use exfoliator in the face wash
  48. I use make up remover wipes, wash my face with Dove soap, use under eye cream then moisturize my whole face and neck.
  49. Fav color – too many to mention… light pinks and beiges (cafe mocha) – and doesn’t matter either way – can be a shiny gloss or matted lipstick.
  50. I need a wide-brimmed hat for the beach. Oh, and I need sunscreen, sunglasses, water, snacks, bathing suit, flip-flops, a book, lip gloss, water wings, mask and snorkle, flippers, air mattress and a beach towel. Did I forget anything? Oh yes, a man to carry it all! Have a great summer!
  51. Hawaiian Tropic dark tanning oil. I love the smell of this stuff. Whenever I smell it, I think of the beach.
  52. definitely would be great, rarely ever game myself a manicure, only when i have the tools and to have the products around 🙂
  53. I usually do it my self. I wanted to take aesthetics and i was taking it for 3 weeks but had a car accident and had to drop out because of physio. So sometimes I’ll go to the school i was going to for client nights to support the other girls.
  54. I only go when I have a very special occasion to go to eg. a wedding.
I wish I could go more often, it’s such a nice luxury that makes you feel good about yourself.
  55. I use to have a manicure every 1-2 months when I use to get gel nails but now I take care of my own nails and toe nails and paint them on a weekly basis with various colours and nail art and I enjoy the new skill I have acquired 🙂
  56. I should be treating myself to manis and pedis muich more often than I do. Perhaps every 3-4 months, maybe 6 months, is how often I get to a salon.
  57. These are a real treat for me, I usually only get a pedicure or manicure 2-3 times per year and it feels amazing when I do!
  58. I have never had a pedicure but I do enjoy feeling cream on my feet and getting them soft. I love the Avon Foot Works line too!
  59. Hardly ever! Sometimes as a special treat before a birthday or something.
I like to do it myself at home, but it’s not the same.
  60. I have never had a pedicure and very rarely do I get a manicure (only special occasions) I am one of those people that even before I get home the polish is already chipped!
  61. I have had one manicure in my lifetime and never had a pedicure, I find both are too expensive on a limited income.
  62. People magazine, I really don’t care about celebrities but it’s kinda fun to have a mindless read at the beach
  63. My favorite books are the wheel of time series by Robert Jordan. If I was stranded on a desert island and could only take one book with me it would be one of his.
  64. the VINYL CAFE series by Stuart McLean.. There is just something about Stuart McLean’s stories! They are so funny I always end up in stitches laughing!
They make me joyful and sunny, the way summer should be and feel..! 😉
  65. I think if I was on the beach I wouldn’t be reading but If i had to pick something,
my favorite novels are by Robert Jordan.
  66. Magazines for sure. They can get wet and sandy and it wouldn’t stress me out too much! Just a nice, fluffy read while enjoying the sand and surf is perfect!
  67. My favourite beach read is a good magazine. I dont like to bring books to the beach as they get sandy and oily so Chatelaine or House and Home are a couple magazines I enjoy!
  68. I usually read whatever book has caught my interest at the moment, if not reading a book, love to read fashion/beauty, fitness or home decor mags at the beach.
  69. Anything on my Kindle really, but this summer perhaps I’ll dig into 50 shades of Grey…seems I’m the only woman alive who hasn’t read it yet!
  70. I don’t really have a favourite at the beach. I spend most of my time in the water, or playing in the sand.
  71. i love the fresh smell of fruit..like watermelon, orange, lemon! makes me feel zingy and refreshed all over when i use them!
  72. Just soap. Most work places have a scent free policy as so many people are allergic to scents so I respect that after hours as well.
  73. Unless Deet is a scent, I do not use any, as I am allergic to mosquito bites, and any scent seems to attract them.
  74. I’m on my last canister of Dewberry talc by the Body Shoppe. It was discontinued and I’ll miss it dearly.
  75. I don’t wear any scents in the summer as I spend too much time outside and I feel it just brings on the bugs!
  76. I use sunscreen daily, year round. I have suffered from Basal Cell Ca of the nose, had to undergo nose resection. Sunscreen is very important every day!
  77. My moisturizer has spf15 and I wear it every day. If I am going to be more exposed to the sun I apply spf 60 to all exposed areas.
  78. A moisturizer with SBF everyday. When I know I will be out in the sun, that’s when the sunscreen gets applied.
  79. Not everyday — only in the summer. I usually use 15 SPF but now that I am older I think I might have to use 25 SPF.
  80. Yes, I do wear a moisturizer with sunscreen every day – and if I’m going to be out in the sun at the beach or in the yard I reapply sunscreen as needed.
  81. I love the sun for my hair actually! I just throw a little lemon juice on my roots and then I sit in it for hours.
  82. I always use a moisturizer with SPF. This is the best way to go for me….I tend to forget to carry sunblock.
  83. I find the sun helps my colour – I’m a natural blonde. But I do wear a hat when I’m outside for a significant amount of time.
  84. I use a color shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair color from fading whether I’m in the sun or not. Other than that I don’t use anything special. The brand of hair color can make a difference as my color right now looks really shiny and glossy in the sun and I’m getting lots of compliments.
  85. I’ve never been able to figure out how to keep my hair from fading in the sun except not to sit out and sunbathe.

  100. i have a small spritzer bottle that i fill with ice water and when my face gets hot and flushed, i simply spray a little bit on it all over my face! it’s a nice wake me up and it cools the skin down and keeps my skin hydrated and fresh looking too!
  101. I’m so fortunate to live in a semi rural area where there is no smog. I’m also close to the ocean so a cool breeze off the water also helps with the heat!
  102. I try to get as much water in, love a talk glass of ice water with a splash of lemon. I also make sure I have sun screen on when out in the direct sun.
  103. It is pretty tough especially lately with such heat! I generally cut my makeup down a bit because it would just run down my face anyway. I drink tons of cold water and I keep a cool face cloth in a bag of ice to either dab my skin with and when no one is looking I actually wrap that freezing cold cloth around the back of my neck..it works!
  104. I drink lots of water and wear an oil free sunscreen all over. I also carry a fan if I’m taking public transit, the fan was a gift from Spain and using it makes me feel cool and glamorous.

Also, if I’ve been sweating alot from activities I like to freshen up with a facial wipe, then reapply SPF lotion if needed.

Then I use a very light face lotion with at least SPF 15. During the day, if I need a touch up I blot my face with an oil absorbing tissue where needed. Also, if I’ve been sweating alot from activities I like to freshen up with a facial wipe, then reapply SPF lotion if needed.
